Ohne dich

“Ohne dich” (“without you”) is about still loving someone who is no longer by my side. She was my sunshine, and without her nothing feels right. Since the breakup I am often alone, sleep badly and try to push my worries away. I wonder whether her love was real.

Still, I am grateful for the good times, even if the wounds have not healed. I realise how much we changed and how our problems grew. I blame myself for giving too much, but I also see how much I invested and that I was always good to her. In the end I decide to go my own way, let go and stop waiting for someone who did not hold on to me.
