The story behind the song
In this song I describe my inner fight with my problems, my pain and the thoughts that follow me every day. I often feel lost and trapped, yet nobody really tries to understand what is going on inside me. At the same time I hold on to my dream and refuse to give up, no matter how many setbacks there are.
My grandmother and her words give me strength and remind me to keep fighting. I process my feelings by putting them into my music. The song shows the contrast between my dark thoughts and my wish for success and a better life. My faith gives me hope and the feeling that I am not completely alone on this path. In the end it is about carrying on despite pain, doubt and problems, and fighting for my dream.
